IT'S TIME!
Make a Pledge

"A Couple's Thought Process Involving Themselves and the Lord While Making Their Commitment"
Recently you received a letter telling you:
1. You would be contacted to:
a. Meet with individuals who will explain the expansion plans, or
b. Invited to a cottage meeting where the expansion plans would be explained.

2. I was asked to serve on the capital campaign committee and Nan and I are extremely excited that our congregation overwhelmingly decided last October to go forward with $5 million dollar expansion plans of our facilities to accommodate the ever increasing need for:
a. Sunday School rooms
b. Christ School and Childcare facilities, and
c. Of course the continued increase in attendance in our 211 Worship services.

3. The reason for our excitement is that we believe:
a. God is pushing us to do something because of space needs as he sends us more and more people and the mold issue
b. $5 million plan is doable for our congregation.
c. Can be completed in one phase now.
d. Timing just seems to be right.

4. The expansion plans God has laid before us are much more than buildings and facilities. We believe God will use these expanded facilities so more people will come to know about Jesus and accept him as their Savior.

5. Nan and I discussed and prayed about what our three year financial commitment would be to the Capital Campaign.
We have continued to contribute to the last Capital Campaign after we fulfilled our original pledge, and had agreed on an increased amount for this new campaign.
However, the words that I kept hearing in our meetings were "We all need to make a bold sacrificial commitment".
We kept asking ourselves how much of a sacrifice we were actually making if we pledged our original agreed on amount. God seemed to be saying, "Trust Me".
By continuing to ask God’s direction in this, we increased our three year commitment when we met with Ed Bean later, and feel confident that God was definitely challenging us to take a bold step forward in faith to make a sacrificial commitment.

6. We know God will guide you as you step forward in faith to make a "sacrificial commitment" to the growth of his Kingdom here at Christ Lutheran Church.
